@lmika Glad to hear it!

@todd Perhaps the migration should ask if you want to move all followers, or just Mastodon followers. I can see good reasons to keep those separate. (Pretty sure this case was never considered by the Mastodon developers who drafted how migration works.)
@SteveSawczyn Thanks, I’ll check out our replies interface and see how it can be made more accessible. Probably a few labels missing.
@dave The funny thing is I’ve yet to see another one of those alerts to take a screenshot! Most alerts don’t have the app icon.
@mineinmono @jonah Thanks y’all. I haven’t had much feedback on following blogs like that, maybe because it’s too hidden!
@jonah Nice idea!
@birming I see. Yeah, the problem is that adding a title often creates a worse experience for feed readers that understand blank titles already. It is possible to edit your blog’s RSS feed to always include a title, but to be honest I don’t recommend it.
@birming Not sure I understand… You can add titles for short posts now by editing a post or showing the title field for a new post (under “…” on the web, or the gear settings menu on mobile). Also, what feed reader is showing “untitled”? That is a bug in the reader. Feedbin, NetNewsWire, and others properly show short posts.
@robertoz I think the organizers have gone out of their way to set the right tone, which is why I wanted to highlight it. Of course it only takes a few people out of thousands to cause trouble if they want to.
@dgreene196 I expect most events are safe, but with everything going on it can’t hurt to be extra careful. It’s sad that we even have to worry about public spaces. 🙁
@Lioncourt Thank you. I’m taking a fresh look at accessibility for this bug fix update.
@patrickrhone Oh no. Terrible.
@AlexKucera That’s only for Micro.blog Premium subscribers right now.
@goblingumbo @viewkeeper Yep, I’ll be adding the next week of prompts today.
@rossk Great, thanks!
@birming I’m curious, any reason you use * instead of _? I agree it should style both, though.
@SimonPeng It’s a good point. I think in the future there will be at least 2-3 big AI providers, and then a bunch of open source and smaller platforms on the side. It would be bad if everything was controlled by a single company (or only 2, like Apple and Google for devices).
@SimonPeng Thanks. I’m already starting to feel a little of that dependence, but personally I see it more like dependence on a computer for writing instead of a typewriter. I can go back to the old way. More worrisome is people who refuse to learn because they don’t need to.
@timapple Nope, no firehose. We need to get Discover updated more often.
@writingslowly Thanks. Excellent post!
@lmika Thanks, I’ll check that out. Same codebase, but we may need something special for the iPad there.
@jsonbecker Got it. I see that often too. I’ll take another look at it, it’s really weird.
@jsonbecker Just to be clear, when you tap the link button it doesn’t automatically add the URL from the clipboard, right?
@rscottjones I’ve got a draft / publishing change ready for the next version. In the meantime, you can also swipe on the posts list and you’ll get a Publish button for drafts.
@fischr Email help and I can set it to be archived so it doesn’t appear. Maybe in the future we can detect when that happens on GitHub too.
